I am a Hui nationality, a member of China's ethnic minorities. Among my sisters, my parents favored me the most since I was a child. However, after I became an adult, due to my Hui ethnicity, I had several romantic relationships, but my father insisted that I should marry a Hui man. It was until I was over 30 that I met my ex-husband, also a Hui man. But fate is unpredictable. Just two months after our marriage, my ex-husband was diagnosed with terminal uremia. Despite this, I remained loyal and cared for him until he passed away in 2022. Now, I want to live for myself and find the person I truly love, enjoying the twilight of my life.
